Pyrroloquinoline Quinone (PQQ) 20mg.

Pyrroloquinoline Quinone (PQQ) was discovered in 1964 and found only in small amounts in a few plant foods like parsley, green peppers, kiwi fruit, papaya, and tofu. PQQ is a key regulator of cellular function and is involved in signal transduction processes involved in cellular growth, development, differentiation, and survival.

 A muscle cell carries around 200 mitochondria per cell and the heart around 500 - the powerhouse of energy production. When we are young, we have our mitochondria working very efficiently. As we slow down and often face chronic illness, including mental decline, we see a decline in mitochondrial numbers, greater damage, dysfunction, and rigidity. We also know that CoQ10 levels decline as we age and liver production of CoQ10 is diminished by statins (cholesterol lowering drugs).
